TOSCHI VIGNOLA,
AN ITALIAN FOOD COMPANY
FOUNDED IN VIGNOLA IN 1945.

The company was established in 1945 in Vignola (Modena), when Giancarlo and
Lanfranco Toschi first dipped the famous Vignola cherries into alcohol to
preserve them and enjoy them all year round. This is just the first in a long line
of product that today is known everywhere as Frutta sotto Spirito.

And thus the Toschi story begins…

1953

TOSCHI LIQUERS

In this year Toschi teams up with the legendary, world
beating Ferrari name to launch its products, thanks to the
friendship between Giancarlo Toschi and Enzo Ferrari.

The 1953 World Champion driver Alberto Ascari
endorses the special gift box: a miniature racing
car containing three bottles of Toschi liqueurs.

1957

TOSCHI CHERRY BRANDY

Debut of Toschi Cherry Brandy, a liqueur
obtained by steeping the famous black
cherries of Vignola in alcohol.

60’s

TOSCHI HQ
CONSTRUCTION

Giancarlo Toschi lays the foundation for the new
Savignano sul Panaro (Modena) premises,
still the company’s headquarter.

NOCINO LIQUEUR DEBUT

In 1962, a deluxe gift pack celebrates the products
from the Vignola soil. Frutta Spiritosa and Nocino
make their first appearance.

70’s

TOSCHI GOES GLOBAL AND
LAUNCHES FRUTTA
SPIRITOSA

In these years, we have indeed a big development of the
company, also characterized by numerous television
advertising campaigns.

80’s

TOSCHI NOCELLO

Made according to an ancient recipe from the
Toschi family, Nocello is made from Walnut.
With its original flavor has conquered
soon the international market.

90’s

TOSCHI LAUNCHES it’s
classic fruit liquors

From the production of Fruits in alcohol to the production of Fruit
Liqueurs the step was short. The range of fruit liqueurs includes
Lemoncello, Fragolì and Mirtillì and a wide range of Cream Liqueurs.

2000’s

2016

TOSCHI USA
In 2016 the company founded and opened
a commercial branch in the USA, with the
presence of employees on the territory to
strengthen and consolidate the sales of
Toschi products.

TODAY

Toschi marketing strategy consists in
expanding our position in foreign markets.
In 2021 Toschi is present in more than 80
countries all over the world, and the export
weight the 55% of total turnover.
